Takashima Island
【 Sasebo | Saikai National Park 】
Takashima island is the second largest inhabited island of the Kujukushima Islands after Kuroshima. Ferries for Takashima depart from Ainoura Port. The view from the observatory at the top of Mt. Bandake is one of the eight most beautiful views of Kujukushima Islands. You can also see Hirado and the Goto Islands from here. Of those eight most beautiful views, this is the only place where you can see the sunrise. The atmosphere at this observatory during the sunrise hours is something special to experience.
