Oshima is an uninhabited island in the center of what’s called the Northern Kujyukushima Islands. It is the northernmost island in Japan where the southern plant Myporum bontioides can be observed. The Shikamachi Ocean and Island Nature Experience Hall as well as the Marine Sports Base Kayak Center are nearby.
