Shiratake National Recreation Area
【 Sasebo ｜ Hokusyo Prefectural Park 】
Located in the northern part of the Kitamatsuura Peninsula, at an altitude of 300 meters in a hilly area of the Hokushou Prefectural Park is nestled the Shiratake National Recreation Area. There are campgrounds with permanent tents, rental tents and auto camping centers. There is a multipurpose plaza for light sports and also adventure plazas with athletic play equipment, hills for observation, and an iris garden for adults and children alike to enjoy.
