Takahama has been selected as part of Japan’s 100 Most Beautiful Beaches as well as Japan’s 100 Best Beaches for Swimming. Green mountains surround the sandy beach, and the seawater features a beautiful gradation of colors from light blue, blue and indigo from the beachfront as it spreads towards the East China Sea. Behind the beach guests can find wild crinum and hibiscus flowers. Route 384 runs through the area, which is a comfortable course selected among Japan’s 100 Best Roads and is perfect for having a pleasant drive while taking in the surrounding natural beauty.
