Tashirobaru
【 Unzen | Unzen Amakusa National Park 】
Tashirobaru is a basin on the Chijiwa fault surrounded by Kusenbudake and Azumadake in the northern part of Unzen. Guests can enjoy the Kyushu Azelea in spring, Korean Dogwood in early summer and the changing leaves in fall. The Kyushu Nature Trail along Kusenbudake and Azumadake is available for hiking and is great for bird watching. The camp grounds are open from May to October every year and are perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
