Tsutsukihama Beach

Tsutsukihama beach on Iki Island is one of the most beautiful beaches in Japan, and is recognized as such in by its inclusion in Japan’s 100 Best Beaches with White Sand and Blue Pines, Japan’s 100 Most Beautiful Beaches, and Japan’s 55 Best Swimming Areas. The white sandy beach is about 600m long with shallow water and calm waves. During summer there are many visitors. The pines that border the back of the sandy beach make a cozy area of shade.
