Kamisaka

Kamisaka park is located 388 meters above sea level at the boundary between Izuhara-machi and Mitsushima-cho. From the viewing platform guests can see Aso Bay, one of the most famous ria coasts in Japan. The landscape is dotted with many coves and islands and looks like a garden courtyard. The light of the sunset against the rocky surface of the quartz prophyry at the summit of Tsushima’s Shiratake mountain top is magical. There are still remnants of a gun battery from the military post that was used here during wartime.
