Obae
【 Hirado ｜ Saikai National Park 】
Obae is located at the northernmost tip of Ikitsuki Island and has a white lighthouse that stands atop a steep, 100m cliff. Many tourists from all over the country visit this lighthouse. This lighthouse is special for its observation deck where guests can enjoy a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. From this viewing platform the sunset is exceptionally stunning. In the surrounding area there are open spaces as well as handicap-accessable sidewalks and tables so people of all ages and abilities can visit comfortably.
